Happy 61st Birthday to Meryl Streep
Arguably the most talented actress of the past few decades. Record holder of 16 Oscar nominations, (including 2 wins)… also nominated for 13 BAFTAs, 3 Emmy’s, 25 Golden Globes, 4 Grammys, 12 SAG and 1 Tony Award. (Putting Tracy Jordan to shame in his pursuit of the EGOT).
Meryl has been making films for 33 fucking years. Back when you were in your mother’s ovary. She has worked on stage, on television, she sings, dances, even to this day. I am almost certain that everyone has seen her in at least one film. I can only hope to be 1% as successful and awesome when I am 61. She is the queen.
This is just an excuse to picspam the 40 films of hers that I have seen.
